Hello :)

   Hi :) I'm Ashley, welcome to my blog!
    This is a place where I will post my short stories, previews & samples for books and talk about my various projects.

   I'm a self-published author and have been doing this since I was 15 years old, even though my first book, Eleven Eleven, wasn't officially published or live to the public until I was 17 years old.

  I'm now 22, and I have written a second book: Dis-Functional Family, which I have high hopes of turning into a series.

    Recently I have toyed with my plans for a sequel to Eleven Eleven which was a paranormal love story involving a young witch and her starcrossed lover- a vampire.

   The couple had no idea the other wasn't human, and they spent a lot of time trying to hide their secret identities, especially when murders started happening all over town- and the girl ended up being charged with murder.

   It was a very special book to me, my very first, and so any plans for a sequel have to be done right. 

    The title for my sequel has been in working mode for a few years now and I have made some plot notes, but I haven't totally nailed an outline, just yet. Though I plan to promote the book long before it's published, or even completed.
You can just call it Eleven Eleven #2, for right now.


    My second book, Dis-Functional Family #1 Not So Sweet Sixteen is less supernatural and more of a reality based comedy, basically imagine anything that can go wrong- and it does.

    A family inherits a new home and is unpleasantly surprised by crazy neighbors and whacky living situations.

   A sequel for it has been partially written, but I haven't yet found the right ending, or a solid title- so let's just call it Dis-Functional Family #2, for right now.

   When I have nailed a solid title and finished the book, I will indeed release the details, but again. Its always good to begin spreading the word before the book is finished- and maybe even catch a few presales.

    Other than my two personally written books I have also authored a couple of Kindle Worlds fan fictions.

   They are written based on the hit tv show and book series The Vampire Diaries and are sold in the Kindle store, so far I have done 3:

    I intend to do a continuing series on each character of the original story, I feel like it's interesting to the fans and I enjoy writing them! 

      Currently I also am involved in an up and coming publishing service which will run primarily online and it will be author owned and operated, I have a partner in this project- and I am excited that it will be launched sometime in 2016!!
